Put Our Expertise to Work

Our staff has over 39 years of experience as examiners, consultants, and instructors in the field of forensic science. When you're particularly concern-
ed with the areas relating to examination of tool mark evidence and scientific tests, our know-how can help convict or exonerate an individual.

We can help answer your questions and provide insight related to forensic evidence so that your client's case is well prepared in order to be properly represented. Our staff of criminalists have testified over 500 times as expert witnesses from working thousands of cases. When your case requires an expert, it's important to know you have someone  with a proven track record as one of the foremost authorities in the profession. And as an additional edge we can often provide our services upon short notice, when the circumstances will permit, due to our aviation capabilities.

In choosing a qualified expert it is critical that you select someone who has a history as a contributing member of a professional association, such as:

Association of Firearm & Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE)
Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists (MAFS)
International Association for Identification (IAI)

As a contributing member to the association the expert will frequently provide presentations (often related to a previously worked case) at annual meetings and submit their research and findings to peer review prior to publishing their work in the association's journal. One of our experts is a Distinguished, Life Member and past President of AFTE & a Charter Member of MAFS.

Our services are available for both criminal and civil cases. Our staff has held memberships in AFTE, MAFS, and the IAI nearly as long as we've been in business.

Services provided are primarily a resource for attorneys, private individuals, law enforcement agencies, military, civil cases, and insurance companies.
We provide consulting and examination for both criminal and civil court
cases.

Those who are familiar with our professional credibility recognize that we conduct every case in an objective manner with integrity, regardless of
which side utilizes our services.

What We Do

To any case our service is a valuable asset because of our knowledge and ability to properly review a case. With the evidence available, our staff can conduct crime scene examinations & reconstructions, perform any necessary tests, then provide their results and conclusions.

Prior to receiving the key evidence, we request supporting documents in the case file, which can include; all the necessary copies of police and medical reports, photographs, x-rays, transcripts, statements, diagrams, depositions, videos, and any other miscellaneous information that is useful.

In most cases it is best, if at all possible, for us to visit the scene so that we are more familiar with the environment. This also provides added credibility in the eyes of a jury should we be needed for trial testimony.
